To help give you an insight into the various fields of work which MAD-effects undertake, here is a short list of our recent activities:

Sound, Lighting and Stage Management for the award winning Cabaret Artist of the Year 2004, Bodo Wartke.

Lighting-on-Tour. Altona Theater´s production of the musical “Bonnie and Clyde” through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Tour and Company Management for the American Drama Group Europe, taking English speaking theatre through Europe.

For the past seven years we have assisted the English Theatre of Frankfurt in the Sound, Stage and Lighting Departments, both in the production and the running of their shows, (naturally, we are just as at home in an English-Speaking environment as in a German-speaking one). We also helped move the Theatre into its new home, the new Dresdner Bank Skyscraper, opposite the European Central Bank and the Frankfurt Opera, and were delighted to be the first Technicians to light the new stage.

Adding pyrotechnics to the magic of The Harry Keaton Show, on many occasions all over Europe.

Our responsibilities at the The Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale Festival 2003, in Hanau, included designing the lighting for the five different pieces, in co-operation with the various directors, as well as operating the shows.

Light and Sound Design and Operation at the Burgfestspiele (Castle Theatre Festival).

Operation and Design of Sound and Light for the Bürgerhäuser Dreieich, (multi- purpose venues)

Variete unter Sternen (Variety under Stars). Complete management of the sound and light at this annual variety festival which takes place in a 1000-seater Big-Top.

Technical management of the Landesportbundes Hessens´ Marquee at the Hessentag 2001 in Dietzenbach.

Jazz in der Burg (Jazz in the Castle) at the Open Air Stage in Dreieichenhain, sound and light design and operation.

At the introductory presentation of the new energy supplier "Energy M", the fused utilities MEAG and the Stadtwerke Halle, in June 2001 providing pyrotechnics and special effects.

Assisting the production manger at the Prize Giving Ceremony of the Fair-Play Awards 2002 of the International Olympic Committee in the Alte Oper Frankfurt.

The presentation of the new BMW 5 Series in 2003, saw a ´tailor-made´ light and pyrotechnics show, choreographed to the music selected by BMW.
